The only thing missing from this brand new home was landscaping that would accentuate the mature oak trees and provide a quiet respite for our clients. We used natural materials such as wood and stone to keep the organic feel of the yard. Foregoing formality in favor of a rustic forest theme, we designed a pergola and deck that gives the space a sense of being "one with the trees". The plants are almost entirely California natives, which keep water use low and fit right in with the natural surroundings. This complete transformation looks like it was meant to be, and gives our clients a sense of place, right in their own backyard!
