Our clients for this Los Osos landscape project wanted to convert their front yard, which had no landscaping and was full of tall weeds, into an easy to maintain, nature inspired garden.

We used large boulders to help stabilize the slope, and planted ground cover and trailing plants which will blanket the bottom portion of the hillside after they grow in. This will further stabilize the slope while adding a beautiful cascading effect. We installed natural stone stairs going from the street to the front door. This adds a striking central focal point for the landscape and also functions as an easier way to access the house than walking up the steep driveway.
